The difference between a concrete pump and concrete boom truck

Concrete pump and concrete boom truck are all pump for concrete machines. They only need to use cars to haulage and transport other supporting pipes. The latter is locomotive body with free expansion arms and no pipeline. And the latter is more expensive than the former.

The concrete pump, also known as the cement pump/trailer concrete pump, it is composed of the pump body and the conveying pipe. It is a kind of machine which uses pressure to carry the concrete along the pipe continuously. It is mainly used in building, bridge and tunnel construction. At present, it is mainly divided into the concrete pump of the gate valve and the concrete pump of the S valve. Another is to install the pump body on the chassis of the car, and then to be equipped with a telescopic or flexed cloth rod, which is made up of a pump truck.

The concrete boom truck is the machine that uses pressure to carry the concrete along the pipe continuously. It is composed of the pump body and the conveying pipe. According to the structure form, it is divided into piston type, extrusion type and water pressure diaphragm type. The pump body is mounted on the chassis of the car(truck mounted concrete pump), then it is equipped with a telescopic or flexed cloth rod, which is made up of a pump truck. The concrete pump truck is rebuilt on the truck chassis. It is equipped with sports and power transmission devices, pumping and mixing devices, distributing devices and other auxiliary devices on the chassis. The power of the concrete pump truck engine power is transmitted to the hydraulic pump or rear axle through the power transfer case, push the piston to drive the hydraulic pump concrete pump. Then the concrete is transported to a certain height and distance by using the cloth rod and pipe on the pump.
