Currently, in the construction of high-rise buildings, concrete pumping construction technology is used to improve the stability and reliability of high-rise building structures. Moreover, in the concrete pumping construction process, we generally use boom placer to complete the concrete transportation and pouring. Below we will briefly introduce the different types of concrete boom placers in high-rise building construction.

There are many types of concrete placing booms, and in different construction environments, concrete placing booms have different uses. Therefore, in engineering construction, the selection of concrete placing booms must be based on the actual conditions and construction requirements of the project construction. At present, in engineering construction, common concrete placing booms mainly include electric pump truck, displaced boom placer and fixed placing booms.

1. Electric concrete pump

It mainly places the components of the booms and the structural components of the concrete pump on the chassis of the same crane truck. The concrete boom pump truck is composed of two parts: concrete pump pipe and structural boom. Moreover, there are two retractable outriggers installed on the pump truck chassis.

During the construction of the project, these two retractable outriggers can play a very good fixing role, thus effectively ensuring the stability and safety of the project construction and also improves the quality of project construction.

2. Mobile boom placer

Since the structure of the displaced placing boom is relatively simple, manpower can be used to push the installation of the placing boom during construction, and this type of placing boom is relatively light and easy to carry. Therefore, this boom placer is the most common in current high-rise building construction. It is mainly composed of three components: boom system, chassis and support.

There are two different forms, namely the roof hanging type and the platform type. They have different advantages and construction methods in different construction links. Therefore, in the process of its practical application, we must also make reasonable choices.

3. Fixed boom placer

In engineering construction, fixed placing booms are mainly divided into two types, one is the inner crawling type; the other is the attachment type. The difference between fixed placing booms and other concrete placing booms is that in addition to the boom systems, most of the structural components are mass-produced components, which effectively increases the stability of the construction.

4. Tower lifting and pumping dual-purpose machine

This is improved based on heavy-duty tower cranes, and are used in comprehensive projects of large-scale high-rise buildings with complex shapes. The boom system can be installed on the reinforced and modified transfer platform under the tower cap.

The pumping system of another dual-purpose lifting and pumping tower crane is installed on a special turntable climbing frame assembly. Since the jib is located directly above the booms, it is made retractable so as not to affect the working space of the booms.
